About Me
My name is Kayla Langford and I teach 12th grade British Literature as well as AP English. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2026 with a Bachelor's in English: Literature and Language then earned a Master's degree in Education in 2027. I am thrilled to be working at Marshall High School (my old stomping grounds) and am very excited to have a long journey in teaching.
When I am not teaching, you can find me performing in community theatre, reading a book from the New York Times Best Sellers, or spending time with my husband and two cats, Skippy Jon Jones and Momo.

Tyler Langford
My husband and I met at Kellogg Community College participating in the Theatre Club, and soon after, we were inseparable. We married in March of 2024 on our five year anniversary in Chicago and celebrated by going to Medieval Times. Together, we love to perform in theatre, play DnD with our close friends, and go on many Target runs.

Skippy Jon Jones
Skippy was born in August of 2021 and has been loud and proud ever since. Skippy enjoys sitting in the window to soak up the sun and managing his employees (aka Tyler and I). Being a Siamese cat, Skippy is extremely intelligent, affectionate, and loud, always yelling at us to feed him dinner early.

Momo
Momo was born in May of 2022 and we adopted him when he was 10 months old. Despite also being a Siamese cat, he is on the quiet side but makes up for it by being the most cuddly out of our two cats. Momo loves lasers, following his brother everywhere, and knocking springs under the fridge.
